About Us

Marilyn Noble is the Owner of Allied Hearing Services with twenty-six years experience in the field of Audiology.

She attended graduate school in Oregon receiving Masters Degrees in Audiology, Psychology and Deaf Education. Along with state licensure in Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing, she is a fellow with the American Academy of Audiology, Academy of Dispensing Audiology and American Speech and Hearing Association.  Marilyn is currently completing a doctorate program through the Arizona School of Health Sciences.

Marilyn's extensive history in the field of audiology started in 1980 with a private practice in Medford and Brookings, Oregon. Upon returning to her home state of California, she participated in development of aural rehabilitation programs throughout California and Colorado. As a consultant to the Medi-Cal program, she assisted with staff education in hearing science and audiology services. In 1991, Marilyn was recruited to Australia through National Acoustic Laboratories for a two-year contract. Services were provided in New South Wales to all age groups and the aboriginal population..

In addition to her experience in audiology, Marilyn has a rich personal background. She was born to educators in Downey, California. She taught secondary education for four years. Her quest for learning has taken her through Europe, Asia, Central and South America. Marilyn's core philosophy has evolved from these unique life experiences to her conviction that "Education and Communication are the keys to effective human interaction".
