OUTPATIENT-FACILITY HEARING IMPAIRED PROGRAM

Our state licensed audiologists and support staff have over 28 years of experience delivering professional hearing services to contracted skilled nursing facility patients.

Components of our program include:

"Identification of Hearing Loss"

This is a semi-annual or annual screening of patients to rule out medical pathologies or hearing loss requiring intervention. No charges are billed to patients for this routine service..

"Diagnostic Services"

Comprehensive hearing evaluations will be performed with appropriate referring physician orders. Referrals are generally covered by Medicare and are performed on site. Complete diagnostic services include cerumen management, air, bone, speech audiometry, and impedance measurements, with full reports.

"Hearing Aid Services"

Prescription services are provided on site to each patient. Custom devices are obtained through individual impressions Our company is able to provide all types of hearing aids: standard, programmable, digital, in-the-ear, behind-the-ear, CIC’s, etc.

Our “Clean and Check Program” allows for routine cleaning and analysis of each patients hearing aid. Repairs may be performed on site or through our all make repair lab.

"Educational Staff In-Services"

Information on hearing loss, working with hard of hearing patients, and hearing aids is provided to each facility to enhance the level of patient care.
